PLEASE watch the entirety of this video. It is LONG because it was totally unscripted and spontaneous, but the message was something I could no longer keep to myself. If in any way it helps prevent any further tragedy from occuring, then it is well worth it. SHARE.
Let’s all take some responsibility in creating the change we need.
On February 14, 2018, yet another mass shooting occurred at a school in my own city of Parkland, resulting in several fatalities. I know some of the moms who lost their children. It has been heart-wrenching for this entire community and far beyond. The amount of pain I have witnessed, even in my own neighborhood, is unbearable. Everyone has been so quick to unleash hate and anger, which is understandable during the process of grieving. But the question that keeps going through my head is “How could this have all been prevented??”. We have failed each other collectively. Our society is broken…and it is up to every single one of us to help heal it to prevent this type of tragedy from happening in the future.
My sincere condolences and prayers go out to EVERYONE who has been negatively impacted by this tragic event. #ParklandStrong
